ART Doing Good is seeking a Michigan-based artist or artist team to create a community-inspired mural.

We’re gathering ideas from people who live, work in and visit Howell to help the artist understand the community and inspire the mural.

Artist selected: By the end of November 2026
Installation: April–May 2027

Please provide an all-in estimate based on what you anticipate needing to successfully complete the work, including your artist fee and any materials, equipment, assistance, travel or other production costs. Final scope and cost will be established with the selected artist before work begins.

I understand that ART Doing Good is not requesting a mural concept or preliminary design as part of this application.

I understand that, if selected, the artist will be responsible for determining and coordinating the materials, equipment, tools, assistance and other resources needed to successfully complete the artwork within the agreed-upon scope and cost.

I understand that the selected artist will work with ART Doing Good through concept development, review and approval before mural installation.
