Turning Community Stories Into Public Art
Art That Makes You Feel Something...
and Do Something
ART Doing Good listens to the community and turns those stories into public art.
The artwork is made to welcome people, reflect what makes a place special, and connect people with ways to be part of the good already happening.
Artist Susan Pominville started ART Doing Good in 2021 with a simple idea: use art to support nonprofits and bring people together around causes that matter. Since then, ART Doing Good has helped raise more than $70,000 for organizations that feed families, support kids, and strengthen community resources.
In 2025, ART Doing Good officially became ART Doing Good Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Today, ART Doing Good is growing into a larger public art initiative. The first mural is complete, with more projects in progress, but the vision goes beyond murals. Artists use community stories and ideas to create many kinds of public art.
Each project begins by listening. At live events and online, everyone is invited to share favorite places, memories, traditions, hopes, and thoughts about what matters to them.
Those ideas inspire artwork that grows with the community and invites everyone to be part of the story.
